Sink soap dispenser
I am always amazed at how many people think that to refill the soap dispenser you have to unscrew the reservoir from underneath the sink. It is not necessary to go under the sink. To refill the dispenser, you simply lift-out the pump and refill from the top.
Waterproofing cabinets
The one cabinet I recommend water-proofing is the sink cabinet. Due to there being plumbing under the sink, sooner or later there will be a leak. These leaks can go undetected, causing damage to the cabinet floor. There are a few options of cabinet trays that can be placed on the cabinet floor to divert water out of the front of the cabinet.
Sink selections
In today’s market, undermounted sinks are the most desirable when using solid core counter tops such as granite or quartz. Stainless steel sinks are the most popular. Porcelain sinks go a long way when it comes to longevity and cleaning.
Selecting a countertop
Granite will add elegance and beauty to any kitchen. It is a hardwearing, heat resistant, durable material. Engineered stone is made from quartz and offers the visual depth of granite. Its non-porous surface resists scratches and stains. Unlike natural stone, engineered stone does not require sealing.
Appliances
We prefer to let our customers supply the appliances for their kitchen. Appliance selections should be the first set of decisions to be made when it comes to kitchen remodels. This is so we can design the cabinetry around the appliances, due to their sizes and configuration.
